This is a normal post No I'm thinking of... *searches hard*... The War Game (1966)

The one funny bit is about 10 minutes and 10 seconds in, the rest is absolutely harrowing.

Both brutal. Both well worth watching.

I was rather taken by the Hole in the Ground as it seems to be from the early stages of the cold war, where there was a naive optimism about how many weapons would be used. Like there would be a few, but nothing too much to worry about.

This is a normal post The execution scene bothers me,
firing 6 .303 Lee Enfield rifles at a 4-5m distance from a brick wall is risky.

How far back do you recommend standing when executing a brick wall?

This is a normal post I am not very familiar with guns
but couldn't you just stand at 45 degrees to the wall?
