No, I think you've been radicalised.
That is, extreme right wing views have been presented to you as credible/valid political opinions, and extreme/outlandish/daft left views have been presented to you as the liberal mainstream. The result is that your perception of the political spectrum is skewed so that your hard right views seem like centrism.
Being soft on authoritarianism, ethnonationalism, regressive social policies, etc., these are not features of centrism. They are not features of a mindset that values liberty.

Only difference between right wing and liberal
is right wing tends to look after itself, liberal tends to make everyone else pay for its stupid ideas. You won't find a poor person with liberal views, if you're liberal, there's still plenty of money for some more Lidl prosecco.
You need a bit of everything (carrot / stick) to make society work, but basically don't take the piss, be that right, left or centrist. This tribal bull and name calling just masks proper argument.
And this bloke is neither innovative, thought provoking nor funny.

The people screaming their liberal views are the ones screaming fascist / nazi if you don't agree with them completely. See discussions regarding transgender issues, black lives matters, ad nauseum. You can still regard yourself as liberal (and it is just yourself and maybe some cronies) yet be crow-barringly authoritarian.
You won't find a poor liberal. Or a quiet one,

The definition of technical terms relating directly to the topic of discussion do not change 'in practice.'
I made no ad hominem or logical fallacies as far as I'm aware. Please feel at liberty to point them out to me.
If we don't agree on a shared lexicon then we cannot effectively communicate.
There are plenty of poor people with liberal views on lots of things. There are people on benefits who not only vote LibDem, but pay for party membership (on a reduced fee, of course).
The Democrats (the right wing liberal party) in America enjoy the support of lots of poorer people, as do the Republicans (the right wing ethnonationalist anti-democratic Trump cult party).
What you're saying about poor liberals is clearly untrue.
The political Right wing is opposed by the political Left wing. One can be both left wing and liberal, or right wing and liberal.
E.g., traditional right wing dogma is economically liberal (free markets, less regulation, less state intervention) and socially conservative (opposition to equal rights for women and minorities). However, the Conservative government here in the UK has been, until Brexit, socially liberal in terms of gay marriage, got elected on a campaign of wealth redistribution (Levelling Up), and since the pandemic have been increasingly interventionist with regards to the economy.
The conservative mainstream is made up of right wing liberals, you see.

but the pattern is the same as with Swagatha - he's describing a skewed perspective of the political landscape, with a use of divisive language that seems designed to manipulate its users and impede communication with outsiders, much like Newspeak.

in Australia, the conservatives are the Liberal Party with Labor (sans the "u") as the centre-left party
As, like a a lot of conservative parties around the world, they've become a bit more Trumpian in recent years you can see the cognitive dissonance as they attempt to parrot US neocon slogans without using the word liberal as an epithet
