If it was a BBC News presenter gleefully reporting that Labour had been absolutely trounced by the tories in a GE, you'd be on here before the report had even finished, angrysobbing about how utterly unprofessional it all was and how the BBC is nothing but a shill for the Tory party. Let's not pretend otherwise, eh?

I think that the BBC, as currently governed by a teeth gnashing monster raving Tory, has gone too far in the quest to be neutral, and that the lunatic powers that be have cynically taken advantage of that to present their insane right wing fantasies as if they are valid opinions of equal merit to those offered by experienced experts in their fields.
E.g. the number of times Nigel Farage appeared on QT, Nigel Lawson's dribbling nonsense paraded as a rational alternative to climate scientists' genuine warnings, etc.
I'm of the opinion that as long as lefties are claiming the BBC is too right, and the right wing nuts are complaining that it's too left, it's probably just right.
But you should carry on with your lazy way of thinking if it makes you happy. Just stop voting, cheers.
