I dunno, in my experience it's usually doctors who throw them around without justification.
It has got a lot better over the last 20-odd years, to be fair. In any case, this idea that *only* doctors have the necessary wisdom be able to prescribe antibiotics is nonsense. And since dentists, nurses and pharmacists have all been able to prescribe them for years anyway (as long as there's an evidence-based protocol in place, and for specific conditions) it's not even a new thing.
That said, I'm impressed they could tell the difference between the abscess and her brain.
