I’m no Steve Mould but as tricks go, is that one particularly difficult?
I mean it’s an equilateral triangle, so if the ball is bouncy enough wouldn’t it tend to bounce back to roughly where it started?

It's very difficult because
you have to throw exactly along the central line or the ball will bounce out.
