This is a link post A Musical Interlude for Sunday
I was at a Bill Bailey show* yesterday and there was a skit about how many songs use the exact same chord progression. Today I listen to this tune and think "bloody hell, he's right", and he wasn't even talking about the chords in every rock and roll song ever.**

*Quite good as it turns out. He doesn't put out tunes as catchy as he used to, .i.e. Insect Nation, but there was a hilarious bit involving a Bizet aria and bad subtitles.
**It was Pachelbel's canon, if you're interested.

As an aside, does anyone know if his lockdown show was ever released on DVD/streaming? I've searched far and wide but can't even find the name of the show. There was a hilarious part towards the end about heavy metal fans answering the doorbell.

Perhaps you're thinking of "Bill Bailey's Bunker Blog", although that was years before lockdown.
During lockdown, I think he was pretty busy with Strictly Come Dancing, and then writing En Route To Normal.
