He can still get elected and be President, plus it makes the Democrats look like they were out to get him because they had to twist laws to prosecute him. It will backfire and was a stupid move. They should have got him onsomething solid, not this drivel.
The democrats need to beware of unintended consequences: it won't change the minds of people who hated him, but it could tempt others to vote for him if they are not happy with the way this has been conducted.

he falsified business records to hide hush money so that damaging true information about his affair with a porn star after his wife had just given birth wouldn't come out before an election. Both of these things are crimes. There were hand written notes entered as evidence that proved the arrangement beyond reasonable doubt.
Whatever bullshit his supporters swallow, doesn't mean you have to buy into it too.

I think he is an absolute slimeball and detest the man, but the democrats are so eager to find anything to disallow him from being president that they have made themselves look like the bad guys, especially when Biden has a big grin on his face when asked about it. Hardly presidential behaviour on all sides.
