I have little doubt whoever controls his estate likes making money, but that's hardly the point
It's not so much the sample, most rappers make a living sponging off other people's creativity with their high school verse over the top, so snoops no worse. It's more Petty appearing in the video like it's a collaboration, when he would have never lowered himself to do that when he was alive.
