Yeah, I wasn't intending to make a direct comparison because the situation is worse there.
My only point is that we're not really in much of a position to affect superiority (not that garold was, I'm sure) because the direction of travel is depressing here too.

I had measles when I was a kid. I've never had plague.
This is where plague lives:
I've heard many stories of tourists returning with plague and being cured with antibiotics. I'm looking for plague deaths in the UK in modern times, but all I've found is an outbreak in Suffolk 1906-1918.
