This is a link post DOCTYPE type-in magazine I made this!
If you’re old (is there anyone young on here?) you might remember ‘80s computer mags with BASIC listings to type in

Well I’ve brought that back… but for web pages.
10 games/puzzles/utilities to type in (including some genuinely fun & impressive stuff), all nicely illustrated by HappyToast and with a glossy cover by PJ Holden

Go on, buy yourself an early Christmas present

DOCTYPE magazine 🚀⌨️

This is a normal post Interesting
Have you lovingly replicated the original experience by excluding critical syntax that renders the whole program inoperable? …Then print a correction the following week. Ah fun times (ish)

I wonder if they had the listings typed out by an admin assistant for publication, or something like that.

This is a normal post I did consider running them all through a thermal printer
but decided to not be too authentic

This is a normal post There is an extra level of authentic
You leave that thermal printout on top of your old CRT monitor that got too hot because it was on for 13 hours a day, so the entire printout goes black.

Then next week, when the correction comes out, you can't read the printout you carefully copied from the magazine you borrowed from your friend.
