Interestingly, a lot of the lyrics on her latest album
are about the impact of body-shaming internet trolls on her self-esteem. Going after a young woman because of her appearance doesn't seem very on-brand for you, or perhaps it is.

Whenever I mock the facial appearance of a man, why aren't you there to tell me I'm body shaming him?
I never criticised her physique. You might have misunderstood what I was actually saying with "If she's 29, so am I." I'm saying her face looks older than mine, and I am older than 29.
If you wouldn't have got upset with me saying similar about, say, Gordon Ramsay or Rory Stewart, maybe your subconscious biases need addressing.

He said I was 'going after a woman' and questioned the 'branding' of my personality, which imho exposes a very patriarchal, hard capitalistic, exploitation-normative mindset tinged with culture warrior pride and white knightism.

In your time you may have noticed 1 or 2 lolheadswaps and a smattering of celebrity mockery around here.
But what, specifically, are my lofty ideals? And how exactly have I mocked CMAT? How are you measuring the cheapness of mockery?
Do I also have illogical manhatred because I notice Jon Pertwee had inch-deep wrinkles in his ostensibly young face? Do you assume I don't enjoy his work because I commented on how old he looked?
It is entirely correct to treat women as a protected class in some circumstances. It's offensively incorrect to treat them as a protected class in ALL circumstances. That would be the bigotry of low expectations. Patriarchal chivalry, *at best.*
