if that's an elephant place near Chiang Mai in Thailand.

But is any of this creative behaviour, or is it merely something some master has forced it to do to entertain tourists?
Can it draw a willy?

They teach the elephants what to draw, then sell the paintings for hundreds. The elephants are memorising what to paint but they do let them paint what they want on the odd occasion and they're alright too. A bit messy, but some go for certain colours and others make dotty line patterns.

Memorised action or not, it's suggests there's a decision being made about where and how to paint that first line-- Elephant may or may not know he's drawing an elephant, but he does know he's drawing. Which is pretty neat. :)
