GC system?
The 'term' is about the most irritating thing about this place. What are you on about reading the day's posts, as well as the previous few days posts, being up to date, not duplicating posts before daring the wrath of a few teenage muppets who obviously spend to much time on the internet. You can't possibly expect everyone to be that 'careful' about linking stuff here; most of us don't take this place that seriously, for all the right reasons

seriously, what does typing it achieve? If you've seen it before here why not just ignore the post, or reply ah that again; I enjoyed that in 2004; using the term just comes across as slightly wanky; you cannot possibly think it's an actual 'system' of regulation; which would be even more retarded a concept if you think about

and a good one.
It does come across as harsh... but that's the point.
Imagine how many additional old-repeat links we'd get if we didn't have the GC system.
If it was a free-for-all any-bullshit-can-get-posted-and-get-away-with-it-without-complaints system then i'm sure a lot of folks would not be here.

but, we shouldn't be so hard on "teenagers". I'm sure there are plenty on here that are just swell. Just like there are plenty of non-teenagers here that probably ain't.
I can't complain.
