This is a normal post I must disagree with you.
I closed my Facebook account a few months ago because of the terrible layout and the invasive nature of its content. Twitter allowed me to get updates from people i respect, priority news from comedians doing gigs, new releases from companies I like to buy from.

It really is not pointless.

This is a normal post it's good to disagree, opinions are like arseholes, everopne has one :)
I'm still of the opinion it's pointless though. ;)

This is a normal post but that what Twitter is...
Look, please try to understand before one of us dies.

This is a normal post I agree with you, Pointless Camel
But I'm not a missionary, so won't say much more on the matter

(other than Twitter is what you make it: if you just talk about what you are having for dinner and that you are off to the beach, and follow similar people, yes, it is pointless. But using it like that isn't compulsory.)

This is a normal post we do understand,
but it's just as easy to sign up for updates to arrive in your inbox of people/companies you want to be kept up to date with.
You tend to get the relevant stuff and not the celebrity equivalent of 'I've bought new shoes'
