I'm not sure if its frowned upon to post (non-comedy (well, not intentionally funny, whoah, brackets in brackets. reminds me of that twin inside a twin thing that was on 5 last night)) music that you've made. But anyhoo here's some of my songs. This 'un embedded (if it works) is 'Eighth Deadly Sin' and there are a few more on my MYSPAZ or proper site

I cant take much of the credit for the overall production though, my mate in sheffield mixed them. I wrote/recorded all the parts and emailed them to him! Good quality for free though.

it sounds rather professional.. well done both of you! what do u record with??

adobe audition 1.5, but only because its simple. for the music I play everything through my amp then into my mic socket on the soundcard.
I think he then mixes them and adds drums in logic 5.0 or something.

i have used cubase a bit and soundforge to sample stuff in but production and mixing are a black art to me!! i did This mix on the decks, human league vs random dance record. sampled in with soundforge, but thats all.

I've played around with Cubase, Cakewalk and sebalius.
sebalius(sorry for spelling) is nice to print pretty sheet music, but thats about it.
Cakewalk is a nice mix of audio and midi, is very good for adding drum lines and is my personal favorite software.
Cubase is good for sequencing together lots of pre-recorded stuff, but not so good for midi editing and encredibly bad at printing it.
I still think an 8 track recorder mixy thing is the best if you can afford one (i can't but have used one a fair bit)
/ends essay on sound software
EDIT: oh, and Andeh, really good music :), has a hint of the levellers to it...
