Nothing showing up on related videos

Isn't the difference between b3ta and say (for the sake of an example), reddit, that people can freely upload things they've made here? Isn't /links supposed to be a showcase of what people have made?

I'm not singling you out here, I just don't understand why people who make funny things for us get called spammers. Sure, "top 10 sexiest swimsuit babes" isn't what we want here, but I think we can all go a long way to be nicer to people who make things to post on /links.

This is a normal post Oh, I wasn't making a spam accusation.
Merely a comment that there was something about it that rang a bell. I have no idea what that something is, though, hence my (genuine and made-in-good-faith) question.

Yeah that was me! It's part of a series though at the moment it's not as funny as it could be. I'm trying to convince the people I'm making it with to add more slapstick and a good measure of stick-boobs.

This is a normal post Personally I like the level of slapstick
although if you tone it up the naration should be more deadpan

This is a normal post Yeah, too much in the way of comedy detracts from the
business-like informing video parody thing.
The funny bits are funny because of the context.
Plus anything you see as a lull, is actually still pretty stylish with the Jazzy and simple animation etc blah.

This is a normal post Nope.
I saw that and liked it. There was just a moment in this that I thought familiar. I probably mistook it for something else, tbh.

This is a normal post Remember, remember...
It reminds me of an anim that was in the newsletter aaaages ago (maybe 12-18 months? Could be more.)
It was on a similar subject, a man despairing of his colleagues addiction to social networking sites, twittering every passing thought etc.
He tries to reason with him and bring him back to reality. I think I recall a scene where they fly hand in hand up into the blogosphere.

Do I win £5?

@ Splicker: I like your style sir! I shall have a peek at your other work too now :-)
