This is a normal post I might be wrong, but I think that's called 'tilt shift' photography.
I've see a few people over on /board having a go at it and it's a pretty neat little effect!

This is a normal post Yep, looks like it's recorded with a tilt-shift lens, with added higher contrast to complete the miniature look
Very nice

I did some pictures in that style. Although I don't have a tilt-shift lens, so had to resort to photoshop trickery (lens blur filter).
