Did you know I'm actually asked into schools to teach about anti bullying (100% fact)
but frankly, it's not freaking difficult to understand. Scrap this citizenship BS and start teaching kids how to behave towards each other.
Oh, and perhaps there should be an exam before your allowed to be a parent.

My youngest son (10) was being bullied at school and the school was aware but doing nothing.
I said that the next time it happened tell them you are going to hit them if they don't stop (fair warning), then when they don't stop, hit them as hard as you can - just once. Then I'll come to school and talk to the head and back you up all the way.
Worked perfectly. My son was exonerated and the other boy's parents were carpeted.
They're good friends now.

unfortunately I'm not allowed to teach this to other peoples kids, but it is what my kids will be taught
