This is a link post images of mass-produced candy virgins mary, sequenced in order to create the impression of continuous deformation NSFW I made this!
A one-minute video I made. I think the combination of the length of the video and that of the title give a pretty good indication of what you can expect.

For those not familiar with it; in at least a few countries around Europe children are often given these white marshmallow-like candies, shaped as the virgin Mary, around Christmas. Because these candies are industrially produced, they're all basically the same, but still slightly different (some being malformed and stuff).


Also, I realize now that religion is such an easy target. Maybe I should start picking on other things, like scientology or nazi's. :)

Mate - you need to interact more, reply to our replies and comment on others stuff rather than just post and go. You have posted 9 videos and 4 comments.

i am not anti-lurker, but riki doesn't lurk, he posts stuff he has made. some is good, some is very odd, all of which is fine, but this is supposed to be an online community, and people on here interact. To (boldly) post-and-go without even answering any of the comments strikes me as a bit rude.

I'm often afraid to look "pushy" by replying on every comment my video's get. If that makes sense? And being sort of a noob, the /talk board is still a bit overwhelming too. Give me some time. ;)

The "length" thing in my description referred to the title being extremely long for a video of a single minute; I've crammed an excessive amount of images in a very short time-span.

What did you think it *was* going to do? :)




EDIT: and by "pushy" I mean that I don't want to reply *for the sake of replying*. If I feel I have something genuine to contribute I won't hesitate to do so.

what did i think it was going to do? I thought it would be a video of a marshmallow mary continously deforming into some other religiously symbolic thing (like a popes head or something)

also i loved the "Misinterpretation of the Epigram" vid you did, as commented at the time.

Are you a film student or something? good luck with your work, it is interesting and different.

Didn't take any offense in it, so that's alright. Thanks for the compliments. :)

And yes, I am currently taking a Film course. But at the school in question, they're more "classically"/commercially oriented, so the stuff I post here are usually things I've made for myself.
