I've revisted a lot of mid 90's bands recently and the majority of them are shite and haven't aged well.
Did I really like Gene & Marion so much back then?

Orbital, The Orb and others so obscure that I've forgotten their names.

the bands I secretly liked at the time that have aged so much better than the 'cool' ones I admitted to.
I still love Shampoo and Saint Etienne.
edit: Shampoo actually did a song about the 80s which goes well with Rob's song about the 90s - www.youtube.com/watch?v=B9wAF8gcbs0

I've certainly heard once it before - I remember chatting to someone about it, how it was obvious that the lyrics weren't written by the girls in Shampoo themselves as many of the cultural references are at least 10 years older than them.

I possibly could if I put 110% effort into it but not sure recursively obscure internet memes is my bag.
