Yup. We've been pondering it. No date/venue/anything yet.
Sometime in April? Suggestions very much appreciated.
Herbs was hoping sometime near her birthday, in a desperate attempt to get extra presents. Though tbh giving her the bumps may take a while/cause hernias.

Somewhere central would be good (easy to get to and all that) although preferably not on the waterfront as it's far too chavtastic.
April sounds good to me.

April - tick.
Central - tick.
Not chavvy - tick.
Trying to stop Herbs dragging us all to bloody flamingos at the end of the night- tick.

Tho not chavvy and central pretty much means means Mr Wolfs, Watershed or somewhere up stokes croft. Which is no bad thing.

not been in there in ages though. Watershed might be a goer as it's easy to find.
Other options include:
- Bunch of grapes (Denmark St, down the side of the hippodrome. Very pubby pub, with dubious live music)
- Several of the pubs near St Nicks Market
- The Ship/Colston Yard on Park Row (near the bottom of St Michaels Hill)
probably quite a few other options as well.
What do we want? Quiet chatty pub? Live Music? Sophisticated classy atmosphere and a wide selection of gin?

selection of whisky and cider would be my preference. Sorry to sound old but nowhere too LOUD, honestly kids these days, you'd think they were deaf!

on the old fart thing.
I might spend the next couple of weeks going out and researching pubs looking for ones with decent cider, decent beer, and a reasonable selection of whisky. Oh, and talking unicorns.
Might take some searching, but I'm willing to suffer for the cause...

Bristol is a bit far for me though. No loss really, is it?
