Loved the books; though they weren't rated very well, I thoroughly enjoyed the many prequels written by his son and Kevin J Anderson, but reading the original sequels got a bit hard towards the end of the series.
Amazing books!

The three 'house' books are fabbo - I don't get why they weren't liked.
I've burrowed into the original set many times, but I've made it about halfway through Chapterhouse Dune before giving up Return-of-the-King style, and have yet to start Heretics.
