Sorry if GC

stop saying 'sorry if gc' or any of the known or yet to be tried variants. Things are sometimes posted multiple times, usually because the item in question is hosted at several different web addresses, or because something is so awesome you forget to check the preview in your haste to share the wonderful thing you've discovered.
It's like watching a decent looking film trailer and then having the 'Also in 3D' bit tagged on at the end, or having a somebody start singing 'I know a song that'll get on your nerves' everytime you see them passing you on a street.
Incidentely, this is gc because somebody posted the mirror site for the daily fail link, we try not ot give them increased site traffic because they are a bunch of twats.

hadn't bothered to watch www.b3ta.com/links/Adam_Buxton_reads_out_YouTube_comments until now!

and damned if you don't. If you can't be arsed trawling through pages of startled foof, self promotion and, I must add, some genuinely hilarious stuff, just to share something that tickled you, if it is GC you get ranted at, and now it appears that even a polite pre-emptive apology gets you ranted at and patronised to boot. Yay!

is not to play it. People shouting GC when a link is reposted maybe once are in the minority, and I will hunt them all down and kill them. It is a term that should be reserved for links that are done to death, especially as this is the actual meaning of the phrase.
Nobody expects you to trawl the site, just a quick click of 'preview' should suffice. Mistakes happen, I've done it myself, nobody really cares.
I'm not having a go at you specifically by the way, just the sillyness of the situation in general.
