He was suffering with pacreatitis which in of itself isn't terminal unless it get really bad
but the medicine they gave him to relive the pain was the kind cancer patiences are normally given and he was breathing really badly during the night had I had trouble trying to rouse him, walked him around the room a little at about 2.30am and he seemed a bit responsive so I let him go back to sleep in the hope the drugs would wear off but he seems to have choked on his own vomit in the night.
