I happened to be around the North Downs last weekend, and saw a load of blokes on expensive bikes - they went very fast - they seemed to me to be escaping bike looters in cars, who were chasing after them - some had bits of bikes on their roofs, mocking the bicyclists with their trophies.
However, this is not the reason for posting this. A surrey country lane, on top of a large hill, lined with curious locals.. and a Policeman on a motorbike checks if he's going the right way. Got us chuckling. The British Police are mostly nice if you don't break the law. Glad someone caught it on camera anyway.

And following their usual tactic - not dealing with the crime whilst its being committed.. I'm sure everyone was arrested for speeding afterwards.

Typical police, did you see the motorcycle policeman plant that big bag of drugs on that old lady.

Lovely part of the world and mobbed with cyclists at weekends. I used to have reason for going up there, but I was in my car travelling to and from the Surrey Hill Brewery. Hic!

This bit is just down the road from where that Brewery used to be. It's moved to Dorking now I think.

Yep, they're at Denbies Vineyard now and doing well. I'll be there getting me ales this weekend. Can't wait.

The cycling equivalent of the S-bend at the Monaco Grand Prix (or Yawn Prix depending on your preferences).
