14, 20, 25, 33 and 45 are quite striking to me.
The news of the Japanese tsunami, especially all the personal tragedies of the residents of the affected areas... easily one of the worst things to happen to Japan.

Assuming the photograph was shot in exactly the same place
note how in picture 8 even the curb was ripped up by the tornado. That is power

I'm not sure they were taken in exactly the same place
Looking at the Google Streetview one, the phone cable stretches across the road a couple of driveways away. On the after, it's laying across the road by the photographer. That would also tally with the apparent move of the bottom of the dip in the road.
Still impressive though.
