This is a normal post Definitely check out his work, he's a surrealist animator specialising in stop-motion.

He also made a version of Alice in Wonderland which I must admit I'm not a fan of.
If you get a taste for him, a great boxset by BFI was put out about three or four years ago which is well worth picking up.
