That's brilliant.
I genuinely think Kickstarter (and projects offering the same thing) is one of the best things to happen to the internet in years. It brings people who want things to happen together with those who want to make it happen. More power to them.

Personally I don't understand why people can't just set up their own website and send that out instead of giving kickstarter a percentage of the money
It's not like kickstarter do any marketing for you.

Kickstarter is a brilliant thing
sadly it's quickly becoming a new revenue stream for companies that don't need to use it.
And they tend to be the ones that suck up all the attention and money
