I read an interview with him in this month's Word magazine
he made a couple of references to how people want him to stop drinking and he doesn't want to - and has never done a show without drink or drugs.
Made me slightly worried he might have a heart attack or something - he's 53.

I wish with all my heart that someone had said that to Tim Smith of Cardiacs a few years ago.
My favourite band- ridiculously good music. And is a genius composer & played many, many instruments extremely well.

There was a brief interview on 6Music earlier this week.
It's not often you hear him talking, so it was a nice surprise.
