Worst case I can see is Turkey invading north Syria under the guise of humanitarian reasons but more to stop the local Kurds getting uppity.
Iran then getting involved attacking Turkey.
Turkey invokes article 5(I think that's the one) Bringing NATO into a conflict with Iran.
Spice that up with a little VX and some pissed off Ruskies and you've got interesting times.

Nato won't use VX. Unless the nukes start going off first. The US realised how deadly that stuff was a while back -they're destroying stockpiles 'cause of how pant-shittingly deadly it is.
