There some nice things on TED.
But also a lot of unbelievable crap, particularly on the TED X regional ones. Real nutcases can go on and talk.

I'd like a b3ta TED event.
It'd be great, loads of people on here have such niche and wacky specialist knowledge it'd be paradigm shifting. Possibly shifting in the wrong direction though.

I don't doubt there is. I've only watched one or two and they seemed quite enlightening.
I just have an in-built skepticism of anything promoting ideas that everybody seems to agree with and not question.
