06:10 - NASA sends command to begin descent
06:24 - Curiosity receives signal, begins descent, and informs Earth
06:31 - Curiosity lands or crashes; informs Earth if it's capable of doing so
06:38 - Earth receives 'begun descent' signal
06:45 - Earth might receive 'landed safely' signal
