If you play a bass that has more than four strings, or is fretless, or you spend your evenings learning bass scales, you might enjoy this photo set.
If you're like me though, and are more of a fan of the traditional four-string bass type, you'll find these portraits of jazz-hatted, long-haired, prog loving douchey bass players pulling awkward facial expressions while holding their phallic, 12-string, bass monstrosities... rather funny.

There are indeed a few daft looking people in there.
And the guy with a 7 string bass? Really? Why? Even on a guitar I think seven strings is a bit much.

Although it is showing it's age a little...
And yeah...those just appear to be pictures of bass guitarists. I was expecting more of this kind of thing

rather than Stadium (the spaniel-haired fret-troubling wanker)?

I just stand and play. Stupid facial expressions do not a great bassist make.

Some stupid expressions might make me look like I'm enjoying it

I know I'm not good enough yet to play while wearing sunglasses, hat, rock-on snarl - and think I can get away with it.
