My friend has a whippet and a lurcher
Nice dogs. One unkown lurcher came running at me in an empty field from about 300 feet away last summer.
It was chasing my boomerang. It landed by my feet and the dog looked at it in a confused way. Unusual stick.
The dog owner was shouting at their dog in the distance. She didn't seem very happy.

Greyhounds on the other hand, are fucking useless with sticks.
You may as well be asking them to stick the kettle on.
You can literally fly them like a kite if they spot the neighbour's cat or some sort of woodland creature, mind.

mate of my dad's had two greyhounds. spent most of their lives locked in a concrete backyard
they jumped out the open window of his car at the park and chased down and killed a toy poodle of some horrified sheila. he won a battle with the council not to have them put down.
