Although I fail to see how increasing the pressure would raise the oxygen level. Also, from the video description: I observe too many of my friends and family are experiencing a wide range of 'quality of life' issues. (Including death)
Yeah, death would indeed impare your quality of life. A ccouple of hours in that chamber of his wouldn't fix it, though.

Given that there's usually very little non-oxygenated haemoglobin in your blood, but there are conditions that can cause low blood oxygen. I suspect there is an element of placebo effect here - if I'd gone to all that effort I could probably convince myself it made me feel better!

e.g. having done a fair bit of scuba I know that when the partial pressure of oxygen reaches 100% of normal air, you die.
