This is a normal post "Keith's Twitter suspension had absolutely nothing to do with his opinions on the subject," ESPN said in a statement.

This is a normal post Perhaps then they'd like to specify what it was for?
Only it looks a lot like that might have been related.

This is a normal post I know a lot of places don't comment publicly about employee discipline because they can be sued for it.
Just like hospitals and churches violate privacy laws if they speak out about patients and adherents, but the subject can say all sorts of things, knowing that if they do they can sue.

This is a normal post I think in this instance we can safely assume it was because of what the article says on the tin
despite our inate b3tan cynicism, which stinks of the growing power of evangelical evolution-denying fuckwits your side of the pond, which worries me. A lot

This is a normal post Maybe, they said the guy has over 3400 tweets.
It could just be that he said something really stupid in another post, but the exposed nerves of some want any reason to believe the world is against them. It really is the only reason this has had any traction at all, because, really who cares?

This is a normal post Err
So his employer has a you can't use social media policy, incase you say something stupid?

A lot of us do care, because people forcing mysticism and superstition down our throats as if it's real in 2014 is absolutely terrifying. That's what denying evolution basically is. And a few simple steps away from 'intelligent design' is imposing legislation that prevents women from having abortions or access to birth control, because you know, it's against their religious beliefs. And so on. So fucking terryfying

This is a normal post Well obviously they don't have such a policy
as his colleague was allowed to continue saying stupid things. Which then leads us back to the original question: Which of his tweets in this matter constituted reasonable grounds to banninate him?

This is a normal post Abortion is a bit of a stretch honestly. It's not like you must defer to religious beliefs to have an anti-abortion stance.
Just saying.

This is a normal post True
but you must admit they make common bedfellows, and it is a good example of religious belief wading into the civil rights of everyone else
(, Fri 5 Dec 2014, 22:55, Reply)
This is a normal post Yes, because christianity more of less comes bundled with certain ethics.
But are those a religious belief too?
