This is a normal post I used to work in a call-centre and would occasionally get a call like that.
You can't hang up or they'll complain, so you have to humour them in a similar fashion.

it is a very famous clip! I am a regular listener to LBC radio and in particular the Clive Bull show. He is an absolute legend of a radio presenter and often does things like this to callers....
