This is a link post I made a pandemic-proof audience I made this!
Last week I defended my PhD thesis.
Since pandemic guidelines prohibited a 'classic' defence (i.e. live-sweating, audience and canapés) and since I am bored with webinars, I tried to make it slightly less boring.

Also, being a doctor now, I will take every opportunity to check whomever's prostate. Regardless that the doctorate is in district heating.
(sorry for Vimeo; Youtube is eating my soul)

This is a normal post I feel so out of touch with the current world
I didn't even know there was such a thing as a doctorate in district heating.

Congratulations.

This is a normal post Thanks
(and really, it’s a energy regulation and economics, but I try to avoid that since people expect all kinds of clever economist lingo. I’m too much of an engineer to speak that tongue)

This is a normal post Congratulations
Were you told the tune requires minor corrections?

This is a normal post Much obliged
Indeed, next project is to invent a time machine. I will go back in time and tell them not to record using a bale of straw (this version is even significantly de-noised).
Other tips on improvement is appreciated (I am a novice in Audacity).

I mean it suits the feel of the tune perfectly.

This is a normal post Thank you
Although tusen takk is Norwegian and I still hold a grudge for them leaving Denmark in 1814...

This is a normal post Sorry, I knew that was wrong as soon as I wrote it
But I don't know any Danish, despite having played some of my favourite gigs in Aarhus and Forbrandingen in Copenhagen.

This is a normal post Lovely!
And speaking of gigs: thanks for your posts in recent months - I have enjoyed several of them. Perhaps even unknowingly also been attending you playing live, during my younger days in Aarhus (where the electronics scene was quite decent in the 2000s at least).
Never been to Forbrændingen, but since it means "incineration plant" it relates well to my research in district heating...

This is a normal post We did a mini tour in the mid-1990s
from Aarhus to Copenhagen, all the gigs were wonderful except for Copenhagen where the audience consisted of 12-13 year olds who all wanted banging techno (one kid got up on the stage and banged on the table to demonstrate, shouting "No! It should be like this!!"). And yes, we were surprised and disappointed how small the Little Mermaid is :) but I love the country and its (grown-up) people.
