If you're having problems canceling with Tiscali, do what I did and email two of the companies executives;

I'm now having my complaint dealt with their 'High Level Complaints' department.

I signed up and didn't get internet connected for 5 months, despite calling their off-shore call centres...EVERY DAY.
There should be a QOTW "How shite is Tiscali?" i'm sure we'll get a torrent of responses.
(I kept my sanity by e-mailing their customer support team a picture of me giving them the finger...it helped a little)

I've never had a single technical problem with the service, I've had it for about 14 months. But for the last month I've been trying to get through to the cancellation line to get a FUCKING MAC CODE! As I want to switch to Sky broadband/Talk/TV.
I'd had enough, did some searches and found those email addresses on another forum, they've worked. They're going to sort out the MAC code and reimburse my phone calls to their 'customer service' line.
In my original email I also told them that I'd registered a complaint with ispa.org, which I have.

And she's on tiscali...it's bloody awful, throttled down to about 200-300kbps during the afternoon... tis the only reason i go home really! lol
