And are demanding things, like a free holiday to Germany and probably playstations and kittens.

Personally I'd just leave them barricaded up. They'll give up the second someone waves a hotdog in their direction anyway.

many parts of Southern Italy are pretty much the Third World. Would be a bit of a kicker to have got stuck there when you were looking for a better life.
