Mentally Disabled Band from Melbourne
Yes I am aware that a lot of people will probably get some sort of sick amusement out of a band of mentally disabled people but I saw them on TV tonight and it was quite a heart warming story.
Also it could just be me but they sound a bit like Joy Division

They do sound a bit like Joy Division.
Bloody good luck to them - good to see people who are outside the 'normal' range (whatever that means) who are doing normal things - all too often they end up wearing crap clothes, having crap haircuts and looking like retards - and yes I am aware of the irony in that.

Hmm...
all for new music and people putting bands together and fir play to these guys for doing it and enjoying it. But lets be honest, they are pretty dire, disability or not. I'm sorry, I know I'm going to get fleeced for this, but at the end of the day, it comes down to the quality of the music. If they want people to over look their disabilities and just listen to their music then my opinion is that they are an awful local pub band. You have to ask the question, would they have appeared on TV or even so much as get a link on here if they weren't disabled.
by the way, they all look perfectly fucking able to me. Cut their fingers off and tell them to play, then I'd be impressed.
