Makes you putty in the hands of hypocritical medieval minded evil child-bothering fuckwits. (thats islam, judeo-chrsitianity esp. the catholic kind taken care of).
I`m with Dawkins. There is no heaven, but hell exists.
Hell`s not fire and brimstone, it is an outsourced IT/ acccounts/customer services dept. in India.

If you take the Bible at face value. A childrens book full of fables about right and wrong, it shouldn't cause too much of a fuss. I'm not religious but even I can appreciate how it could help make decision in a 'what would Jesus do' scenario (i.e. if you're tempted to do something wrong). It'll help you to make the right decision. Beyond that, religion is the biggest scamming spamcunt in the world. I can't speak for other religions cos i've never experienced them firsthand. I'm presuming the same statement is relevant though.
