Here's something interesting, a fan edit of Prometheus and Covenant into one movie that tells David's story - Paradise by Job Willins.
He cuts out a lot of the nonsense and switches between the two movies as flashes forwards and backwards so that it all unfolds together.

- Prometheus was one of only a handful of movies I just plain quit watching, it was so stupid.

There was a clever pictorial comparison
between the original xenomorph lifecycle as seen in Alien and Aliens, and the nonsense depicted in these bad films.
