I don't have an account, but it was an interesting look at the guy behind it and I feel sorry for all those who believe they are tied to using Facebook.

I too am dubious about facebook, but caved in, and joined a couple of weeks ago for one reason, and one reason only.
I've traveled widely, lived in a few countries, and in doing so , have made a lot of good friends. I had lost contact with many of them until I joined facebook. OK, I could have got in touch with them, by sending out huge amounts of e-mails, to get so and so's address, who I can then get so and so's address from, who will lead me to .......ect. But it was never going to happen.
The rest of it is shit though, and the amount of time people spend 'socialising' on it, is just plain weird.
