This is a link post Resistance is futile I made this!
I've been trying to get back in the habit of this video making lark, seeing as I spent several years of my life learning it and then promptly gave it up when I got a "real" job. I made this the other day just to get myself used to some new kit (a Canon EOS 550D in this case) and give myself a bit of practice.

This is a normal post I absolutely bloody love it
It's so simple to use and for the most part the footage shot with it looks excellent. My only problem with it is that it feels very light and a little bit fragile due to the plastic casing, but I wouldn't really advise dropping it no matter what it was made of.
