Tarkovsky's Solaris - watch for free online
Original version in Russian with English Subtitles. There are other Tarkovsky films available at this site (Stalker, The Mirror etc) but I haven't checked to see if they are subtitled...was too excited about Solaris being available online. I have watched this film several times.... Its much better than the soderbergh version.

Good stuff!
The subtitles on my copy don't work on disc 2, resulting in me watching the first half with subtitles and the second half dubbed. For some reason the characters have different names in the subtitled and dubbed versions!

Wonderful - thanks for those links.
Have you read Roadside Picnic by the Strugatsky Brothers - the book Stalker is based on?
It's as good if not better than Lem's Solaris.
