But after the shot in the trailer that showed they were no longer on earth (so the new planet has the same make up of air/gravity as the earth??), plus the predator dogs (reminds me of the Hulk dogs that looked like they were from the Mask), this clip, plus although its out next week, no reviews at all... I wonder if its gonna be a stinker.

Very similar to the Alien comic strip. Where the predator was another story. The film is more or less identical, which is more than could be said for the Mask...

I'd have liked to have seen a Predator movie set in Iraq or Afghanistan. Baking hot like the jungle, lots of loons with guns for hunting etc

The original Predator was only a B-Movie, after all.

It's based on a script written by Robert Rodriguez in the early 90s - was supposed to be a sequel to Predator in the same way that Aliens was a sequel to Alien.
