Happy 70th birthday, Mr. Townsend.
Wait for it...

The Who are supposed to be doing Glastonbury this year. I saw them at T In the Park, the one lamentable time I went to that, and they seemed a shade of themselves when I had seen them previously, with Joe Strummer opening for them.
Those are my Who thoughts.

No I meant the book on child abuse he claimed he was researching for when the police found thousands of child porn images on his computer.
Just another 70's nonce.

I actually know where he lives if you want to post dogshit through his letterbox. Top of Richmond Hill, by the park. Just happened to be strolling to the Roebuck pub and saw him glumly looking out of his door as guests were arriving. Looked GUILTY as sin, I tell you.

Andrew Motion's biography of not only Kit, but dad Constant - the composer and model for the character Hugh Moreland in Anthony Powell's Damce to the Music of Time series of 12 novels - and grand dad George, the painter.
