This is a normal post I've got 10.4 on an old desktop
and it is really good with t'internet but trying to install software is a right pain in the arse.

This is a normal post I'm using Ubuntu 11.04
and it works fine. Worth upgrading for?

This is a normal post I think so. If you're using Unity there are lots of changes to that.
And if you want to use Gnome 3 and Gnome Shell you can use it alongside Unity in 11.10, whereas in 11.04 if you install Gnome Shell, you break Unity.

If you're happy with the way your OS is now though, you could wait until 12.04 since that will be the Long Term Support release. :)

This is a normal post I much prefer Gnome Shell.
I think Unity still needs a lot of work. It's very netbooky, which is fine if you use a netbook, I suppose!

This is a normal post I wish I could get round to using this stuff but just too used to OSX and Windows.
On a side note got my graphics card card today.
I can now put my computer together.

For those that are interested in this kind of thing here's the parts list i've scrounged.

all of that just for Witcher 2? It ran fine on my (feeble by comparison) block, even maxed out. I take it that isn't the only reason.

Either way, that build is going to be immense. I'm still waiting on bulldozer before I bump this one up again.
