This is a link post World of "average" faces.
Ronseal. Overlapping images are all fused together to show what the
average citizens of all nations look like. I'm particularly interested in
what our photoshoppers think so please feel free to shout "fake".

This is a normal post You're right, it does depend
but the images aren't just lifted from the web, they have to use fairly sampled and controlled face images from verified sources.

I can't vouch for the images posted above (though they do look right), but every face study I've ever seen goes to enormously elaborate lengths to ensure that their research is valid and therefore publishable in a peer reviewed journal.
